Edgard Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Tupitinga were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacarias Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Sergipano in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Mumbach saved Tupitinga from getting behind. Gonçalo Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zacarias Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Tupitinga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. David Mumbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Douglas Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Mumbach having to interfere. Edgard Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Gonçalves in the 87th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nando Meira got free with Edgard Vargas in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Bacaiuval SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tupitinga's performance. The match ended with a win for Tupitinga.
