With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tomás Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SÍTIO CANTO's Angelo Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Messias in the 45th minute of play forced Lelemke Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Tomás Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Lelemke Esporte Clube were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over SÍTIO CANTO's much stronger midfield.
