Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Guaiuba EC's Anselmo Gaspar got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Matías Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Carioca having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís de Toledo got free with João Francisco Valladares in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guaiuba EC's Hortêncio Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Leão in the 11th minute of play. When Anísio Leão came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Trem das Onze novo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Leão couldn't finish the play. Hortêncio Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Moreno in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Trem das Onze novo's goalkeeper João Francisco Valladares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Netto. João Francisco Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Pedro Luiz Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Matías Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Hortêncio Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Anísio Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trem das Onze novo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anísio Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Trem das Onze novo's Matías Moreno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hortêncio Carioca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Matías Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Guaiuba EC's zone, Régis Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Carioca came out of the goal and Régis Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iuri Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Guaiuba EC's zone, Matías Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Carioca came out of the goal and Matías Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matías Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hortêncio Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Anísio Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Matías Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trem das Onze novo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. César Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Matías Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trem das Onze novo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaiuba EC the free kick. A collision led to Trem das Onze novo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Matías Moreno hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Danilo Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Francisco Valladares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 86th minute, Trem das Onze novo's Matías Moreno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hortêncio Carioca. Hortêncio Carioca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. After 90 minutes of play, Guaiuba EC's André Luís de Toledo made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Francisco Valladares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trem das Onze novo played a much better game than Guaiuba EC and deserved their victory. The Guaiuba EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
