After 18 minutes of play, Clube de Regata SWAT's Dênis Abraão made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Carlos Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Carlos Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Clube de Regata SWAT booed when Jacaresinho AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dênis Abraão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Maia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jacaresinho AD's Fabiano Sabóia got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Osvaldo Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube de Regata SWAT's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Paraíba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelinho Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilson Rosado charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilson Rosado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Clube de Regata SWAT got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Rosado. Marcelinho Maia came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube de Regata SWAT's Osvaldo Paraíba. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Paraíba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Clube de Regata SWAT's Dênis Abraão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelinho Maia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Carlos Vale got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. José Carlos Vale hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The Jacaresinho AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clube de Regata SWAT were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Paraíba to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Osvaldo Paraíba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelinho Maia. The goal made the score 0-4. With an all-out effort, Clube de Regata SWAT's Marcelinho Maia threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Osvaldo Paraíba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dênis Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Maia having to interfere. Manfredo Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Marcelinho Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Paraíba in the 72nd minute of play. Clube de Regata SWAT's Osvaldo Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Clube de Regata SWAT's Dênis Abraão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelinho Maia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 88th minute, Jacaresinho AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sílvio Luís Veiga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Cauan da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacaresinho AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauan da Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube de Regata SWAT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacaresinho AD the free kick.
