Cesinha Matorin started the match with the kick off. Brancos FC's Frédson Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Poiri's Igor Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Igor Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Vladimir Loureiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladimir Loureiro was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Dionísio Eger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dionísio Eger really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Frédson Quadros hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Cesinha Matorin's late challenge caught a Poiri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Carneiro in the 40th minute of play forced Brancos FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Brancos FC's Cesinha Matorin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Vladimir Loureiro came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Poiri's Igor Reis. But to his dismay, Igor Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Reis got free with Vladimir Loureiro in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dionísio Eger was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Igor Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vladimir Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Brancos FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cesinha Matorin hit a great ball. Walmir Ramalho didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Dionísio Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vladimir Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poiri's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
