LITLE ITALY SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minas Esporte Clube the free kick. Manfredo Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Doriva de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernán Barcoj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, Minas Esporte Clube's Doriva de Sousa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernán Barcoj was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Minas Esporte Clube's André Luís Romero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernán Barcoj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Manfredo Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebeto Arósio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Pedro Paulo Dracena made a huge save. In the 37th minute, João Vítor Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfredo Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pedro Paulo Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfredo Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. Biagio Lemme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Dracena having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Minas Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Lemme came free, but Pedro Paulo Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Manfredo Abraão made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Paulo Dracena. Minas Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Hernán Barcoj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva de Sousa in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Biagio Lemme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Dracena was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LITLE ITALY SC's Biagio Lemme got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manfredo Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Pedro Paulo Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Manfredo Abraão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LITLE ITALY SC fully deserved thier win.
