Feiticeiro's Juarês Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibúrcio Reis in the 4th minute of play. If Krisztián Kováts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes Aboboras got a freekick which was hit by Michel Penha. In the 10th minute Conrao Agrelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percival Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Juarês Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibúrcio Reis in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Michel Penha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juarês Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Juarês Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Marques in the 22nd minute of play. Aboboras's Oséas Vieira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diamantino Vergílio, made in the 25th minute of the game. When Krisztián Kováts came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Feiticeiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krisztián Kováts couldn't finish the play. Conrao Agrelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Aboboras's goal looked a bit too open when Conrao Agrelo came free, but Roberto Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celsinho Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Feiticeiro got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Veiga. In the 47th minute Tibúrcio Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrao Agrelo to strike the kick off in the second half. Juarês Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Costa in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tibúrcio Reis got free with Juarês Alvarenga in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Matías Couto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Feiticeiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Juarês Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Costa in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Conrao Agrelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Feiticeiro's Conrao Agrelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Diniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Conrao Agrelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Diniz was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Aboboras's Roberto Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krisztián Kováts in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Conrao Agrelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feiticeiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrao Agrelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 85 minutes, Conrao Agrelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feiticeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrao Agrelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Percival Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Juarês Alvarenga made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Aboboras's Celsinho Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juarês Alvarenga. That made the score 2-2 after 88 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Feiticeiro defense, Celsinho Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juarês Alvarenga. The Feiticeiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juarês Alvarenga should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aboboras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
