Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benê Varela made the kick off which started today's match. Gualter Silveira came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Ivaitinga's Benê Varela. But to his dismay, Benê Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Evandro Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evandro Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The free kick made by Santana's Natanael Corrêa led to a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Corrêa in the 16th minute of play forced Ivaitinga's goalkeeper Duda Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Natanael Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natanael Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santana's goalkeeper Gualter Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duda Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benê Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Natanael Corrêa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Duda Koehler. The goal made the score 1-1. Ivaitinga's Juan Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evandro Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
After having played for 57 minutes, Juan Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ivaitinga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivaitinga's Duda Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Fernandez in the 65th minute of play. Gualter Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Varela in the 71st minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Santana's Natanael Corrêa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duda Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 81 minutes into the game, Santana's Evandro Fernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a defensive mix-up in Santana's zone, Juan Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualter Silveira came out of the goal and Juan Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Silveira having to interfere. When Benê Varela came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ivaitinga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benê Varela couldn't finish the play.
