With a little luck, são paulo fc's Charles Porto got control of the ball when Dedé Mazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Pavuna's Zé Carlos Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to são paulo fc getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Percy Vides hit a great ball. Charles Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Vale in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes in the game, Zé Carlos Hoffmann fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Charles Porto having to interfere. Charles Porto was a little too slow when Zé Carlos Hoffmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedé Mazza got free with Charles Porto in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramiro Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Vander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. são paulo fc's Charles Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Hoffmann in the 57th minute of play. After 59th play minutes Zé Carlos Hoffmann shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Charles Porto and just under the crossbar into goal. Charles Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Dedé Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Charles Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zé Carlos Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Pavuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Carlos Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. Zé Carlos Hoffmann took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Porto. Charles Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. A collision led to Pavuna getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Adhemar de Andrade hit a great ball. Júlio Vander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Moreno in the 75th minute. If Dedé Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Carlos Hoffmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Pavuna's Júlio Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Pavuna from getting a goal against them. Zé Carlos Hoffmann took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Porto. Charles Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Zé Carlos Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Porto having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pavuna fully deserved thier win.
