When Sipicue AD's Hernani de Mendonça in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barcelona FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Hernani de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Melo during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Fernando Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Fernando Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barcelona FC's Robinho Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Andrade in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Sipicue AD booed when Barcelona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robinho Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Barcelona FC's Hamílton Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Hamílton Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sipicue AD's Edvaldo Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Manoel Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duda Quadros missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 37 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Edvaldo Lopes right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Sipicue AD's zone, Hernani Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Lopes came out of the goal and Hernani Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robinho Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robinho Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani de Mendonça in the 43rd minute of play. Fernando Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robinho Xavier having to make a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamílton Moraes made a kick off. Hernani de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernani de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Xavier having to interfere. Manoel Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manoel Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manoel Queirós hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sipicue AD booed when Barcelona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carlos Barral fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona FC's protests and gave Carlos Barral a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Barral hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Hernani de Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robinho Xavier having to make a save. Fernando Andrade scored 0-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robinho Xavier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 81 minutes, Fernando Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sipicue AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duda Quadros was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. Osmar da Costa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Robinho Xavier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Robinho Xavier managed to avoid a goal in the 99thth minute, when Sipicue AD's Fernando Andrade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match was over Sipicue AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barcelona FC throughout the match.
