Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dráuzio Mesquita made the kick off which started today's match. When Percival Damião fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maribu AD's protests and gave Percival Damião a yellow card for diving instead. Percival Damião hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius Hermes in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Percival Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Diguinho Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umberto Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Hermes in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Alan Vander sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guaratiba FC's Diguinho Fernandez didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Soares in the 26th minute of play forced Maribu AD's goalkeeper Umberto Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guaratiba FC's zone, Dráuzio Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diguinho Fernandez came out of the goal and Dráuzio Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dráuzio Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Fernandez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Vinícius Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaratiba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinícius Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maribu AD's Umberto Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiko Soares in the 42nd minute of play. José Maria Pontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umberto Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Maribu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Hermes came free, but Umberto Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaratiba FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dráuzio Mesquita 48 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kiko Soares to make the kick off. Umberto Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Vinícius Hermes sent off a good shot on target. Vinícius Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Umberto Aguiar made a huge save. Vinícius Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiko Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Maribu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Soares came free, but Umberto Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfredo Paes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Kiko Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves José Maria Pontes could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Umberto Aguiar however easily saved by the left post. Umberto Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Soares in the 76th minute of the match. When César Quadros fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maribu AD's protests and gave César Quadros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guaratiba FC booed when Maribu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Umberto Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Soares in the 84th minute of play. With his leg Umberto Aguiar managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Guaratiba FC's Vinícius Hermes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Umberto Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Vinícius Hermes sent off a good shot on target. Vinícius Hermes struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Umberto Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaratiba FC. If Kiko Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
