An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Maia in the 7th minute of play forced Puruzinho's goalkeeper Cristóvão Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Baiano charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Baiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Cordilheiras SS got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Baiano. With his leg Angelo Ortiz managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Puruzinho's Flavinho Castro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Puruzinho's Laércio Moreno got a free kick in the 14th minute. Cordilheiras SS made a substitution. Ricardo Gaspar replaced Célio Novaes. Laércio Moreno hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Daniel Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristóvão Rosado was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Daniel Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cristóvão Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Teixeira in the 34th minute of the match. When Daniel Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Cordilheiras SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Teixeira couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristóvão Rosado was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Puruzinho's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Teixeira came free, but Cristóvão Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The wind increased when Daniel Teixeira made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fábio Maia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristóvão Rosado firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Paulo Fernandes during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Puruzinho's João Paulo Fernandes got a free kick in the 55th minute. Laércio Moreno hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Rosado made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Luiz Fábio Maia sent off a good shot on target. Cristóvão Rosado came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Cordilheiras SS's Luiz Fábio Maia. But to his dismay, Luiz Fábio Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 65 minutes of play, Puruzinho's Arlindo Azevedo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Cristóvão Rosado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Puruzinho's Cristóvão Rosado got control of the ball when Luiz Fábio Maia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 72 minutes of play Puruzinho's João Paulo Fernandes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. João Paulo Fernandes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Teixeira in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristóvão Rosado saved Puruzinho from getting behind. Angelo Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Mangueira in the 88th minute of the match. Puruzinho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Daniel Teixeira scored to the left of an out of position Cristóvão Rosado, making the score, 1-2.
