Tucunduva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laerte Madureira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Saco FC's Carlos Eduardo Botelho got control of the ball when Raí Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Carlos Fernando Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Fernando Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Tucunduva booed when Saco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute of the match, Laerte Madureira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eriberto Souza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 62 minutes into the match, Raí Marinho notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Saco FC's Carlos Eduardo Botelho. Carlos Eduardo Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the match, Saco FC's Carlos Fernando Trancoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Marcelo Mattos notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Saco FC's Carlos Eduardo Botelho. Carlos Eduardo Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
