A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Fethi Tanzer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Annapolis EC's Güneş Dalokay. Güneş Dalokay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Anísio Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Real Ubatuba E.C's Ottó Erdei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Veiga in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Annapolis EC booed when Real Ubatuba E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fethi Tanzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivo Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Güneş Dalokay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Edson Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annapolis EC and the Real Ubatuba E.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edson Berger hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, João Paulo Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Fethi Tanzer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Güneş Dalokay, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Real Ubatuba E.C's zone, Anísio Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ottó Erdei came out of the goal and Anísio Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fethi Tanzer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Güneş Dalokay made a huge save. After having played for 43 minutes, Ermanno Minati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annapolis EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Minati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ottó Erdei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Annapolis EC made a substitution. Walmyr Duarte replaced Haroldo Brasil. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anísio Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Real Ubatuba E.C's zone, Anísio Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ottó Erdei came out of the goal and Anísio Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Marco de Sena had to leave the field with a concussion. When João Paulo Custódio fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Ubatuba E.C's protests and gave João Paulo Custódio a yellow card for diving instead. Annapolis EC's Luís Fabiano Carneiro was substituted for Marco de Sena. The supporters of Annapolis EC booed when Real Ubatuba E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Paulo Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ottó Erdei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anísio Veiga in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Ermanno Minati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ottó Erdei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güneş Dalokay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fethi Tanzer took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Güneş Dalokay. Güneş Dalokay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The supporters of Annapolis EC booed when Real Ubatuba E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fethi Tanzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, Annapolis EC's Armando Quadros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ottó Erdei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Annapolis EC reached it. If Gugu Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Ubatuba E.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Annapolis EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
