Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nacional EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Hernani Leite scored to the left of an out of position Felipe Marquez, making the score, 1-0. Armando Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Márcio Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nacional EC! Felipe Marquez had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Jânio Miranda's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marco Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nacional EC's Marco Moura got a free kick in the 24th minute. Armando Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Marquez having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Hernani Leite recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Marquez. Hernani Leite showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 34 minutes into the match, Eulalio Ferman notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Itatiayassu FC's Adelino Prestes. Adelino Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 played minutes Nacional EC got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Maranhense. Adelino Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th match minute, Itatiayassu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Donatello to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hernani Leite made the kick off in the second half. Nico de Carvalho thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Felipe Marquez, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 3-1. Wilton Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Prestes having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Wilton Dias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adelino Prestes. The goal made the score 3-2. In the 61st minute, Vânderson Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernani Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Marquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Wilton Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Vander in the 69th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Nico de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional EC and the Itatiayassu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nico de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Itatiayassu FC's Armando Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Vander in the 74th minute of play forced Nacional EC's goalkeeper Felipe Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Nacional EC's Marco Moura got a free kick in the 75th minute. Nacional EC's Felipe Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Vander in the 76th minute of play. Itatiayassu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Armando Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacional EC's Felipe Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Vander in the 90th minute of play. Paulo José Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Felipe Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Itatiayassu FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Nacional EC for much of the match.
