Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joélson Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Nuno Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joélson Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Cearense having to make a save. Urubuquara's Wilson Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wilson Vides fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urubuquara's protests and gave Wilson Vides a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Urubuquara got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Vides. 18 minutes into the match, Urubuquara's goalkeeper Nuno Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joélson Castro. Mané Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joélson Castro got free with Nuno Cearense in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th match minute, Urubuquara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. If Joélson Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Urubuquara's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld came free, but Nuno Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joélson Castro got free with Nuno Cearense in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joélson Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Cearense was a little too slow when Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Carlos Augusto Botelho made the kick off in the second half. Joélson Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Martins's late challenge caught a Upatininga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Martins helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Urubuquara got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Martins. Orlando Simão made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Upatininga FC's Leonel Nóbrega. After having played for 64 minutes, Joélson Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Upatininga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joélson Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Cearense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Christiano Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Botelho in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Evandro Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisão Cardoso during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luisão Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Urubuquara's zone, Joélson Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Cearense came out of the goal and Joélson Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Leonel Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Upatininga FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Nóbrega. Orlando Simão struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Christiano Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urubuquara. When the referee ended the match the Upatininga FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
