In the 2nd minute, Enéas Quaresma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Penha in the 5th minute of play forced Conani's goalkeeper Amadeu Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goalkeeper, Armando do Vale, was totally fooled by Conani's Aílton Correia, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Castro during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The wind increased when Leonel Paes made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Silvinho Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fernando Teixeira hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Martelo FC were furious when Anísio Lucas was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Martelo FC! Aílton Correia shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal.
