Paulo Renato de Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toninho Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Rodolfo Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Amorim in the 63rd minute of play. Rodolfo Pena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Washington Amorim went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Paulo Renato de Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Recanto AD's Toninho Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Recanto AD from getting a goal against them. In the 78th match minute, Recanto AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Recanto AD's Toninho Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Paraíba in the 82nd minute of play. Toninho Borges was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Magno Paraíba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Magno Paraíba really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Álvaro Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Pena having to interfere. Recanto AD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
