Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Benjamim Tinoco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Rodriguinho Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 6 played minutes Galo Azul got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Fernandes. Gonçalo Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldo Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Benigno's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Chaves came free, but Ronaldo Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Tinoco in the 18th minute of play forced Benigno's goalkeeper Ronaldo Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Vítor das Neves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronaldo Tasso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gonçalo Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ronaldo Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Galo Azul's Benjamim Tinoco in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benigno's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Chaves in the 30th minute of play forced Benigno's goalkeeper Ronaldo Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Rubinho Matos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldo Tasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Benjamim Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Galo Azul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamim Tinoco couldn't finish the play. After the first half Galo Azul were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After 55 played minutes Benigno got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Veloso. 56 minutes into the game, Emanuel Varela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benigno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo Azul the free kick. Benjamim Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Tinoco in the 65th minute of play forced Benigno's goalkeeper Ronaldo Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulinho Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguinho Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Benigno's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Tinoco came free, but Ronaldo Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Tinoco in the 82nd minute of play forced Benigno's goalkeeper Ronaldo Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Benigno's Ronaldo Tasso got control of the ball when Benjamim Tinoco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giuseppe Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giuseppe Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle sounded Galo Azul left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Benigno.
