Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manuel Brasil made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Tapiracanga's goalkeeper Valdemar de Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Dantas. After some careless play in the Tapiracanga defense, Luciano Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar de Godoy. The Tapiracanga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar de Godoy should have stopped the shot. When Ivo Reis fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tinguizeiro's protests and gave Ivo Reis a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Tinguizeiro got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Reis. Manuel Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Tapiracanga's Thiago Ceresso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Álvaro Goiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 16th minute, Paulo Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionísio de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Valdemar de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Dantas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valdemar de Godoy firmly grabbed it by the left post. Carlos Augusto Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Ceresso hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Dionísio de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Valdemar de Godoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tinguizeiro. Dionísio de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Manuel Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Goiano having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Tinguizeiro's Marcelinho Lima got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Manuel Brasil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tinguizeiro's Álvaro Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Tapiracanga's Manuel Brasil in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tinguizeiro's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionísio de Carvalho made a kick off. If Manuel Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes, Wanderson da Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tinguizeiro and the Tapiracanga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Wanderson da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Manuel Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Tapiracanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Brasil couldn't finish the play. Luciano Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tinguizeiro getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Luciano Dantas hit a great ball. Tinguizeiro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Manuel Brasil scored to the left of an out of position Álvaro Goiano, making the score, 1-2. In the 71st minute Manuel Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fernandinho da Mata fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tapiracanga's protests and gave Fernandinho da Mata a yellow card for diving instead. Tapiracanga's Valdemar de Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionísio de Carvalho in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Tinguizeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Salgado to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Carlos Augusto Dias from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Álvaro Goiano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Sidnei Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tapiracanga's protests and gave Sidnei Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. Tapiracanga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
