Amadeu Trevisan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juranda. Amadeu Trevisan was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Raí Vidal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raí Vidal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Mazinho Baiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Trevisan was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Juvenal Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luiz Paulo Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Aricobe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Tepedino couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Aricobe getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jonathan Rocha hit a great ball. If Luiz Paulo Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Aricobe's Amadeu Trevisan got control of the ball when Mazinho Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Juranda's Raí Vidal in the 45th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Amadeu Trevisan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Aricobe through an amazing save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Raí Vidal made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Vidal in the 53rd minute of play forced Aricobe's goalkeeper Amadeu Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazinho Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Amadeu Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juranda's Fábio Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Tepedino in the 63rd minute of play. When Mazinho Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Juranda fans jumped to their feet. After 71 played minutes Aricobe got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Rocha. Luiz Paulo Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Raí Vidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Trevisan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 87th minute, Raí Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, André da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Amadeu Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Juranda players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
