When Mazinho Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Juranda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazinho Baiano couldn't finish the play. Fábio Moreira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sul da Ilha Floripa Clube's Erasmo de Godoy shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Raí Vidal's late challenge caught a Sul da Ilha Floripa Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raí Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. Raí Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo de Godoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo de Godoy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Fábio Moreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Vidal in the 59th minute of play forced Sul da Ilha Floripa Clube's goalkeeper Fred Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Mazinho Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The shot was a little too simple and Fábio Moreira could save by the left post. Juranda's Fábio Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo de Godoy in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Juranda's zone, Cipriano Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Moreira came out of the goal and Cipriano Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Erasmo de Godoy made a precise shot to the right of Fábio Moreira. Juranda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Agnaldo Toledo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Fred Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 91st minute Erasmo de Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Pereira having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Sul da Ilha Floripa Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Sul da Ilha Floripa Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
