Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claudinei Prado made the kick off which started today's match. 10 minutes into the match, Sidney Paraíba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Gerber. Santos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidney Paraíba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Claudinei Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Gerber having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Santos's zone, Sidney Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Gerber came out of the goal and Sidney Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Prado in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo Gerber saved Santos from getting behind. When Sidney Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Massui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Paraíba couldn't finish the play. When Massui's Sidney Paraíba in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santos's goalie prevented a goal. After 28th play minutes Sidney Paraíba shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Dalmo Gerber and just under the crossbar into goal. Dalmo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Prado in the 40th minute of play. Massui's Sidney Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinei Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dalmo Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Natã de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. Dalmo Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A hard shot 54 in the game by Sidney Paraíba from a close distance when the talented Dalmo Gerber managed to make a qualified save. Santos's players were relieved. 60 minutes into the game, Narciso Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Massui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos the free kick. Narciso Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Sidney Paraíbas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Dalmo Gerber to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Santos's Dalmo Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Prado in the 66th minute of play. Sidney Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Fausto Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Massui the free kick. When Narciso Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Massui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Macedo couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute of the match Massui got a corner. Santos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hélder Prata ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 81st minute, Massui's Claudinei Prado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dalmo Gerber. Dalmo Gerber yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. If Amadeu Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dalmo Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Massui's Hélder Prata got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
