Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeferson de Godoy started the match with the kick off. Valdo Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Fernando Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Betão Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carlos Fernando Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson de Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betão Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson de Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciclón da Itapira's goalkeeper Betão Albuquerque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Germano da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Porto having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guivotas's goalkeeper Flavinho Porto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ciclón da Itapira booed when Guivotas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeferson de Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Betão Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciclón da Itapira's Betão Albuquerque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ciclón da Itapira from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Germano da Rocha made the kick off in the second half. If Carlos Fernando Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson de Godoy in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jeferson de Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guivotas's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson de Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeferson de Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ciclón da Itapira's zone, Carlos Fernando Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Albuquerque came out of the goal and Carlos Fernando Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 minutes, Fabinho Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciclón da Itapira and the Guivotas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ciclón da Itapira's Fabinho Coutinho got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Ciclón da Itapira booed when Guivotas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Aloísio Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeferson de Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Betão Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Correia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Betão Albuquerque having to make a save. After 94 played minutes Ciclón da Itapira got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Coutinho. 95 minutes into the match, Guivotas's Edmundo Baiano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee ended the match the Guivotas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
