The crowd rose to their feet as Andarai FC's João Pedro Pitta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Maria Jacinto. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. The Andarai FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nildo Veiga should have stopped the shot. Cancela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andarai FC the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Cancela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Faria to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Paranaense in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nildo Veiga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
