Arembepe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afonso Vasconcelos in the 17th minute. Arembepe's Caetano Félix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Arembepe from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Manuel Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Alf Sigfridsson put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alex Guerra. Caetano Félix was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nico Moraes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 44 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

After a rather tough play, Macoapani's Sandro Messias got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Macoapani's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Sigfridsson came free, but Alex Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Macoapani's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alf Sigfridsson 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Caetano Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Messias in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Sigfridsson in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Afonso Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Macoapani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Messias to maneuver through the defense. Washington Meirelles hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Messias in the 82nd minute of play forced Arembepe's goalkeeper Caetano Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Sandro Messias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Caetano Félix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Afonso Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Guerra was a little too slow when Alf Sigfridsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-6. After 92 minutes, Natanael de Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macoapani and the Arembepe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Natanael de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Vasconcelos struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Alex Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arembepe. Arembepe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
