Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The audience was convinced that Michel Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Fernando da Silveira was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The Williams Atlético Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Barris FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Cavalcante came free, but Valdo Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, César Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Williams Atlético Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barris FC the free kick. After 23 played minutes Williams Atlético Clube got a freekick which was hit by César Carvalho. Gonçalo Paes charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barris FC booed when Williams Atlético Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Leite in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Fernando da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Williams Atlético Clube's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Michel Leite 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Dieguinho Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Paraense having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michel Leite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Guilherme Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barris FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Fernando da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Guilherme Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barris FC's goalkeeper Valdo Paraense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valdo Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Barris FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fernando Loureiro during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valdo Paraense was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nilmar Sarmento. The supporters of Williams Atlético Clube booed when Barris FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guilherme Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Barris FC's Guilherme Fernandes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Fernando da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Barris FC's zone, Nilmar Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo Paraense came out of the goal and Nilmar Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, Barris FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
