The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cido Bittencourt during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Matas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio de Almeida in the 4th minute of play forced Matas SS's goalkeeper Angelo Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséias Monteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Márcio Pontes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 16th playminute. Bruno Schmidt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Márcio Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Silveira having to interfere. When Hélio de Almeida, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Angelo Silveira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Angelo Silveira was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Hélio de Almeida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hélio de Almeida really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Matas SS's zone, Hélio de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Silveira came out of the goal and Hélio de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hélio de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélio de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

A collision led to Mairi AD getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rodriguinho Negri hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Márcio Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Márcio Pontes went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Márcio Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eurico Cardozo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Pontes in the 70th minute of play forced Matas SS's goalkeeper Angelo Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Hélio de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Mairi AD's Márcio Pontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Hélio de Almeida sped through Matas SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angelo Silveira. In the 79th minute, Hélio de Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mairi AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. In the 82nd minute, Márcio Pontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Hélio de Almeida took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Silveira. Angelo Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-1. A collision led to Matas SS getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sandro Cardoso hit a great ball. If Hélio de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
