Gugu Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo de Toledo in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Jacarara's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Lara came free, but Percy Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, Jacarara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Braga to maneuver through the defense. Percy Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Tepedino in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo de Toledo made a kick off. Geovanni Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bruno Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Percy Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percy Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute Elias Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gugu Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albertinho de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacarara's Percy Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Lara in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Nelsinho Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacarara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XVII de Agosto F.C the free kick. In the 78th minute, Nelsinho Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 80 minutes, Elias Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XVII de Agosto F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of XVII de Agosto F.C booed when Jacarara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
