Fiori Reis scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Pena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fiori Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseu Pena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fiori Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the match, Vanzera F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Schmidt came free, but Eliseu Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Vanzera F. C. defense, Joaquim Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Pena. The Vanzera F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Pena should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldir Silva during the 18th minute. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Raphael Medeiros's late challenge caught a Pajou SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Vanzera F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Medeiros. Eliseu Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Reis in the 41st minute of the match. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Teodoro Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Barros in the 58th minute of play.
