Alfredinho Cardozo made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Claudinho Luz sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Dracena EC's Zé Carlos Gomes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 24th match minute, Dracena EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Gomes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, Cafu Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volcanick FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cafu Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cafu Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonçalo Britto having to make a save. Gonçalo Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Pereira in the 41st minute of the match. Dracena EC's Gonçalo Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Mendes in the 46th minute of play. The audience was convinced that João Francisco Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonçalo Britto was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Carlos Gomes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Francisco Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredinho Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Dracena EC's Gonçalo Britto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Dracena EC from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute Zé Carlos Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dracena EC's Artur Félix got a free kick in the 88th minute. João Francisco Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gonçalo Britto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but João Francisco Mendes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 93 minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Dracena EC were victorious despite being under pressure from Volcanick FC for much of the match.
