Fernando Brasil started the match with the kick off. Nelson Eger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Brasil went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute, Pedro Luís Koehler made a precise shot to the right of Nelson Eger. WayneTech Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murilo Cardoso during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Murilo Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Christiano Valladares struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Yuri Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WayneTech Football Club. Maurício de Brito hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match, Christiano Valladares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yuri Pinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute, Christiano Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When WayneTech Football Club's Christiano Valladares in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício de Brito couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Rosado in the 42nd minute of play forced Cure's goalkeeper Yuri Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, WayneTech Football Club's Ramón Prado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yuri Pinho. Yuri Pinho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Murilo Cardoso took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Eger. Nelson Eger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yuri Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício de Brito in the 54th minute of the match. When Christiano Novaes fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cure's protests and gave Christiano Novaes a yellow card for diving instead. Christiano Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. WayneTech Football Club's Nelson Eger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save WayneTech Football Club from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the game, Cure's Eugênio Medeiros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Eger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After 87 played minutes WayneTech Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Nogueira. After having played for 92 minutes, Christiano Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WayneTech Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christiano Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Benê Rosado notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Cure's Yuri Pinho. Yuri Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cure were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over WayneTech Football Club's much stronger midfield.
