Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Sampaio in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reginaldo de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiaguinho Macedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reginaldo de Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Conrado Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Reginaldo de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ramiro Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Reginaldo de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Macedo in the 33rd minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Marcelo Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fox Machine. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiaguinho Macedo to make the kick off. In the 59th minute of the match, Tiaguinho Macedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reginaldo de Salles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Diogo Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
