Natanael Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Inácio Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Sá having to interfere. Raimundo Gerber hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deivid Mumbach made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Itapucu SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Wanderson Mazza hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Betão Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Meirelles in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Deivid Mumbach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natanael Sá. Itapucu SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deivid Mumbach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
