São Judas F.C.'s Ramón Vasconcelos suffered a sore knee after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 5 minutes, Marco Paulista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Infinito and the São Judas F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Paulista hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Tiago Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Ludomir Tomaszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Paulista in the 8th minute of the match. Ludomir Tomaszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in São Judas F.C.'s zone, Zé Pedro Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomir Tomaszewski came out of the goal and Zé Pedro Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Infinito got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Messias. After a rather tough play, Infinito's William Paulista got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Zé Pedro Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jardel Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 35 played minutes São Judas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Santana. Ludomir Tomaszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 44 minutes, William Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Infinito's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Paulista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Furtado in the 48th minute of play forced São Judas F.C.'s goalkeeper Ludomir Tomaszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jardel Veiga made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Zé Pedro Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Infinito's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Pedro Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludomir Tomaszewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vivaldo Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jardel Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Infinito getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. William Paulista hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Infinito's William Paulista got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Tiago Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ivo Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. São Judas F.C.'s Vivaldo Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. São Judas F.C.'s Jardel Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vivaldo Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jardel Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Galvão having to interfere. São Judas F.C.'s Vivaldo Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Paulista succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 88th playminute. With a little luck, São Judas F.C.'s Ludomir Tomaszewski got control of the ball when William Paulista tried to sneak it across the goal line.
