Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dé Veiga started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Balneario's goalkeeper David Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexsandro Novaes. Dé Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexsandro Novaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexsandro Novaes ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Wesley Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balneario's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Balneario's David Cruz got control of the ball when Alexsandro Novaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The goalkeeper, David Cruz, was totally fooled by Erial's Deivid Marinho, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Balneario booed when Erial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cacá Cordeiro in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Esteves saved Erial from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Wesley Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Balneario's Cacá Cordeiro in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erial's goalie prevented a goal. Dé Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. David Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Balneario's Wesley Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cacá Cordeiro made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Erial's zone, Wesley Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Esteves came out of the goal and Wesley Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cacá Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wesley Matoss short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Zé Esteves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 59th minute, Alexsandro Novaes made a precise shot to the right of David Cruz. Balneario's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The supporters of Balneario booed when Erial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes Erial's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ramiro Tande who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ramiro Tande got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Esteves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 69th minute, Luiz Paulo Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexsandro Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Cruz having to interfere. Cacá Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zé Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wesley Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Esteves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wesley Matos in the 81st minute. Zé Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Balneario booed when Erial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Cacá Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balneario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cacá Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erial's Zé Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Cordeiro in the 97th minute of play. Erial's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
