With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Queiroz in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dieguinho Mangueira saved VIKINGS from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Valdir Queiroz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dieguinho Mangueira. When Geovanni de Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VIKINGS's protests and gave Geovanni de Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, VIKINGS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense.
