Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. César Marques started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Calheiros SS booed when Itacaja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Calheiros SS's Michel Sena in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itacaja FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that César Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deivid Bertassi was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Michel Sena struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sidney Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calheiros SS. Deivid Bertassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of César Marques's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Deivid Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Fantini in the 26th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Itacaja FC got a freekick which was hit by César Marques. Michel Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidnei Neiva hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Itacaja FC's André Luís Machado got a free kick in the 40th minute. Sidney Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Mendonça in the 44th minute. Naldo Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Sidney Leite when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes into the match, Calheiros SS's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Machado came free, but Deivid Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naldo Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 60th minute when Naldo Mendonça elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. César Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deivid Bertassi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Calheiros SS's Naldo Mendonça made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidney Leite was left in no man's land by his defense there! With 78 minutes on the clock, Pedro de Andrade commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Calheiros SS! When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Itacaja FC's Fabiano Rosado got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Deivid Bertassi. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Edmílson Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itacaja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deivid Bertassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Marques in the 86th minute of play forced Calheiros SS's goalkeeper Deivid Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Leite having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Marques in the 94th minute of play forced Calheiros SS's goalkeeper Deivid Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calheiros SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Itacaja FC for a fine match.
