Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erivaldo Pena started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Eriberto Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademir Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Perobal's Hernani Rodrigues in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rolante's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Rolante booed when Perobal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Perobal! In the 24th minute, Rolante got a penalty, and Evaristo Schmidt placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Eriberto Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ademir Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernani Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Paulo Soeiro got free with Iuri Saldanha in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Moreira in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iuri Saldanha saved Rolante from getting behind. When Jefferson Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perobal's protests and gave Jefferson Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Perobal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Hernani Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Iuri Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perobal. Perobal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
