Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Léo Ceresso took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulysses Rodrigues during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulysses Rodrigues hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Rolante's Eriberto Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Augusto Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Iuri Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erivaldo Pena hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jaime Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Pena in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Valparaiso getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Claudinho Ramalho hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Léo Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iuri Saldanha came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Valparaiso's José Augusto Guedes. But to his dismay, José Augusto Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jaime Faria came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Rolante's Eriberto Reis. But to his dismay, Eriberto Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 33rd minute Erivaldo Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Erivaldo Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Faria having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, David Leme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rolante's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valparaiso the free kick. David Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Rolante booed when Valparaiso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rolante's Erivaldo Pena, in the 87th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Rolante. Eriberto Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jaime Faria made a huge save. Eriberto Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Faria having to interfere. José Augusto Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iuri Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Augusto Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. Iuri Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Eriberto Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Rolante players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Valparaiso from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
