Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the match, Guaratuba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Fonseca came free, but Edmílson Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimir Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Edmílson Ramalho made a huge save. Edmílson Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Fonseca in the 13th minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Zézinho Fonseca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 18 minutes, Chiquinho Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaratuba FC and the Fidalgo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Guaratuba FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Chiquinho Massa hit a great ball. Vladimir Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Edmílson Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes in the game, Zézinho Fonseca fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edmílson Ramalho having to interfere. Ronaldinho Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guaratuba FC's Edmílson Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Guaratuba FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Fonseca in the 38th minute of play forced Guaratuba FC's goalkeeper Edmílson Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zézinho Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimir Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Ramalho having to interfere. When Manuel Passos fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaratuba FC's protests and gave Manuel Passos a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evaristo Barreto to strike the kick off in the second half. Guaratuba FC's Edmílson Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Mazza in the 59th minute of play. After 59 minutes of play, Fidalgo's Vladimir Mazza made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmílson Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the game, Raí Mumbach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaratuba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fidalgo the free kick. After 63 played minutes Guaratuba FC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Mumbach. Murillo Rosa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edmílson Ramalho. Guaratuba FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Zézinho Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fidalgo's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmílson Ramalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Luciano de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Manuel Passos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. In the 77th match minute, Guaratuba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Passos to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes of play, Fidalgo's Vladimir Mazza made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmílson Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilberto Neto hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Vladimir Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Ramalho having to interfere. Fidalgo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
