Waldemar Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís da Silveira to make the kick off. Víktor Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Waldemar Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sanharao EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when César Neves 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. A collision led to Cassino FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Didi Travassos hit a great ball. Albertinho de Lima came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sanharao EC's Luís da Silveira. But to his dismay, Luís da Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Osvaldinho Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Albertinho de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Osvaldinho Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
