César Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Edvaldo da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Tiaguinho dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siqueira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cassino FC's Albertinho de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Jacinto in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Cassino FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Delfim Carioca hit a great ball. Delfim Carioca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 24th playminute. 28 minutes into the match, Cassino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho dos Santos came free, but Albertinho de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Cassino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho dos Santos came free, but Albertinho de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertinho de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Jacinto in the 34th minute of play. Edvaldo da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Neves in the 37th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when César Neves made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiaguinho dos Santos got free with Albertinho de Lima in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danilo Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Cassino FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Soeiro. If Tiaguinho dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Carioca took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo da Silveira. Edvaldo da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 85 minutes into the game, Egídio Jacinto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albertinho de Lima. Egídio Jacinto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Cassino FC's Delfim Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cassino FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Siqueira FC for a fine match.
