Ian de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafim de Brito having to interfere. Ademir de Lara succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 20th minute Wellington Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilson Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafim de Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Paraense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wellington Pinho's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Serafim de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Laudja's Serafim de Sena got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ian de Alcântara hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Gaujiru AD's Ademir de Lara in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laudja's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Gaujiru AD getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Edgar Valladares hit a great ball. If Pedro Luiz Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osmar Abraão hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
