Daniel Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Edgar Valladares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovani Gaspar. Edgar Valladares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 16th minute, Ademir de Lara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geovani Gaspar. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 19th minute, Mateus Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaujiru AD's Cássio Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Corrêa in the 22nd minute of play. Ian de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Gaspar having to interfere. Geovani Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Chora SC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Neiva. With a little luck, Chora SC's Geovani Gaspar got control of the ball when Ian de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Corrêa in the 29th minute of play forced Gaujiru AD's goalkeeper Cássio Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes, César Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaujiru AD and the Chora SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gaujiru AD getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. César Mota hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gaujiru AD's zone, Marco Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Paraense came out of the goal and Marco Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vivaldo da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian de Alcântara in the 44th minute of play forced Chora SC's goalkeeper Geovani Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Eger made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian de Alcântara in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovani Gaspar saved Chora SC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Gaujiru AD's zone, Gláuber Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Paraense came out of the goal and Gláuber Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gaujiru AD had won after a very even match.
