Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chico Trigo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Sport Club Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Trigo came free, but Diogo Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Paulinho Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Trigo in the 9th minute of play forced Sport Club Corinthians's goalkeeper Diogo Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulinho Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Diogo Leite successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Fred Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Bofete's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Hoffmann came free, but Paulinho Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Bofete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Nelson Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulinho Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nelson Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Sport Club Corinthians's Diogo Leite got control of the ball when Délio Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelson Couto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chico Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Diogo Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Nelson Couto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulinho Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Bofete's Délio Soares got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Nelson Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Trigo in the 66th minute of play forced Sport Club Corinthians's goalkeeper Diogo Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sport Club Corinthians booed when Bofete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Leite came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Bofete's Chico Trigo. But to his dismay, Chico Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sport Club Corinthians's Diogo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Queirós in the 77th minute of play. With his leg Paulinho Queiroz managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Sport Club Corinthians's Nelson Couto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Bofete getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Délio Soares hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bofete's zone, Nelson Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulinho Queiroz came out of the goal and Nelson Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fernando Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Paulinho Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelson Couto in the 90th minute. Nelson Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bofete could leave the field as winners, despite Sport Club Corinthians having more of the ball for most of the match.
