In the 3rd minute, Décio de Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vacas do Norte da Malásia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Marcel Ramos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 11th minute Serginho Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Décio de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes Vacas do Norte da Malásia got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Trancoso. 19 minutes into the game, Benjamim Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vacas do Norte da Malásia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candiba FC the free kick. A collision led to Vacas do Norte da Malásia getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Benjamim Mineiro hit a great ball. Rubens Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Mattos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Candiba FC's goalkeeper Paulinho Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Décio de Amorim. After a defensive mix-up in Vacas do Norte da Malásia's zone, Fred Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubens Proença came out of the goal and Fred Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Décio de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Paulinho Rossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vacas do Norte da Malásia. With a little luck, Candiba FC's Paulinho Rossi got control of the ball when Décio de Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rubens Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Marcel Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Décio de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Paulinho Rossi made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Mathias Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Décio de Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rubens Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Fernandez in the 63rd minute of the match. With 64 minutes on the clock, Benjamim Mineiro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 65th minute, Benjamim Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vacas do Norte da Malásia's attentive Roger da Silva managed to snatch the ball when Mathias Fernandez made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Rubens Proença was a little too slow when Gustavo Mattos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-1. Paulinho Rossi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Décio de Amorim went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the match, Vacas do Norte da Malásia's Décio de Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulinho Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Décio de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Paulinho Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Décio de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Rossi having to interfere. Rubens Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Ferreira in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Décio de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Paulinho Rossi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the game, Roger da Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vacas do Norte da Malásia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candiba FC the free kick. Roger da Silva hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Candiba FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vacas do Norte da Malásia.
