Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orlando Salgado started the match with the kick off. Rubens Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Ramos in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico de Barros saved Itaguassu AD from getting behind. Rubens Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Faustino, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Faustino in the 28th minute of play forced Vacas do Norte da Malásia's goalkeeper Rubens Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Itaguassu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Ramos came free, but Nico de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes Itaguassu AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Donato Reis who took care of the corner kick. In the 38th minute, Décio de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vacas do Norte da Malásia's Rubens Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Salgado in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Itaguassu AD's Nico de Barros got control of the ball when Lucian Paun tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the match, Vacas do Norte da Malásia's goalkeeper Rubens Proença had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aníbal Faustino. Rubens Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itaguassu AD's goalkeeper Nico de Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Itaguassu AD's Aníbal Faustino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rubens Proença. That made the score 0-1 after 56 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Ramos in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico de Barros saved Itaguassu AD from getting behind. Lucian Paun took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nico de Barros. Nico de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Marcel Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubens Proença made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Aníbal Faustino sent off a good shot on target. Orlando Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rubens Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Itaguassu AD fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Itaguassu AD's Aníbal Faustino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Faustino got free with Rubens Proença in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Salgado in the 83rd minute of play forced Vacas do Norte da Malásia's goalkeeper Rubens Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Ramos in the 86th minute of the match. Marcel Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Itaguassu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Décio de Amorim came free, but Nico de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Vacas do Norte da Malásia getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Marcel Ramos hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Vacas do Norte da Malásia's Marcel Ramos fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Nico de Barros was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. The Itaguassu AD players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Vacas do Norte da Malásia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
