Eusébio Fantini was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Tibúrcio Melo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulinho Rossi, 1-0. Frédson Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Fred Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Erasmo Ferreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frédson Veiga. Queluzito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasmo Ferreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Frédson Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Mattos in the 33rd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Queluzito got a freekick which was hit by Patrício Palmeira. Candiba FC's attack was well implemented in the 35th minute, but when Erasmo Ferreira was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Fernandinho Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Paulinho Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Queluzito's zone, Erasmo Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Veiga came out of the goal and Erasmo Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fred Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Queluzito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Fantini to maneuver through the defense. If Erasmo Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute of the match, Erasmo Ferreira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frédson Veiga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 82nd minute, Fred Barral made a precise shot to the right of Frédson Veiga. Queluzito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Váldson Damião fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Queluzito's protests and gave Váldson Damião a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Candiba FC. Paulinho Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulinho Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Ceresso in the 98th minute of the match. The Queluzito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Candiba FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Candiba FC.
