Egídio Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juninho Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Catarinense ran back to his position shaking his head. If Renan Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, Quarahim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Juninho Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalmo Rocha in the 11th minute of play. Cristian Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juninho Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Catarinense ran back to his position shaking his head. Cauan Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With his leg Luiz Fábio de Sena managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Quarahim's Sydney Coelho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adalmo Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th match minute, Musinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilla Tarkan Eraksan to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Aguiar hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A collision led to Quarahim getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cauan Aguiar hit a great ball. Luiz Fábio de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Porto in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quarahim's zone, Cristian Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Fernandez came out of the goal and Cristian Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Egídio Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Juninho Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Musinho FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Adalmo Rocha made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Musinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Coelho came free, but Luiz Fábio de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Porto in the 54th minute of play forced Musinho FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renan Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Luiz Fábio de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Coelho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Musinho FC's Luiz Fábio de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Coelho in the 65th minute of play. Sydney Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, one of Musinho FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Musinho FC. Adelino Vale shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 71 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Musinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quarahim the free kick. Ronaldinho Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Musinho FC's Luiz Fábio de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Coelho in the 74th minute of play. Arthur Peres was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, one of Musinho FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Musinho FC. Quarahim were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Musinho FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adelino Vale took the corner. If Adriano Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fábio de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Adalmo Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juninho Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Adalmo Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Musinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalmo Rocha couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Musinho FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ladislao Bidari hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Musinho FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
